Budget: The warning calls for total expenditures of $1.1 million, with $783,000 to be raised in taxes. That represents a 2.6% increase in required taxes. The municipal tax rate is estimated to increase by less than a penny and would be 43 cents per $100 of value.

Contested races: Selectboard member Norman “Nope” Martin is being challenged by George Spear.

Pandemic Precautions: The town of Bridgewater is holding drive-thru voting rather than a floor meeting because of COVID-19.

When and where: Drive-thru Australian ballot voting will take place from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 2, at the Town Office.
