Ottauquechee Health Foundation to hold annual meeting

WOODSTOCK — The Ottauquechee Health Foundation will hold its annual meeting from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 30, at Billings Farm and Museum in Woodstock.

The event will include a review of the organization’s activities of the past year and a welcome of new board members. It will begin with a social hour and hors d’oeuvres, followed by the meeting in the second hour.

Lake Sunapee Region VNA & Hospice to hold annual meeting in February

NEW LONDON — Lake Sunapee Region VNA & Hospice invites the community to its annual meeting next month.

The New London-based nonprofit, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary, will host the meeting at 4 p.m. Feb. 13 at the Wilmot Community Association Red Barn on 64 Village Road in Wilmot, N.H.

The meeting will include highlights of 2019 initiatives and accomplishments, annual staff and volunteer award presentations, and remarks by the organization’s board chairman Dr. Donald Eberly, a retired general surgeon.

Dartmouth-Hitchcock appoints new trustees

LEBANON — Dartmouth-Hitchcock’s board of trustees elected five new public trustees and two new physician trustees during the board’s December meeting.

The new members on the D-H board that oversees Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon and community group practices include Mark Begor, CEO of the data, analytics and technology company Equifax; Dr. Elof Eriksson, a plastic surgeon and inventor; Jennifer Moyer, chief administrative officer for White Mountains Insurance Group; David Paul, president and chief operating officer of the Washington D.C.-based real estate company JBG Smith; Thomas Raffio, president and CEO of the Concord-based Northeast Delta Dental; and Dr. Jonathan Huntington, a hospitalist and associate chief medical officer at DHMC.

In addition, Dr. Richard Powell, the section chief of vascular surgery at DHMC, was appointed to the board that oversees the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Health system, which includes DHMC, as well as the system’s other member hospitals.

The D-H board also has a new chairman. Edward Stansfield, a senior financial adviser, resident director at Bank of America/Merrill Lynch who has been on D-H’s board since 2017, succeeds outgoing board chairman, Vincent Conti, who completed 10 years of service.

APD controller promoted to VP of finance

LEBANON — Todd Roberts has been promoted to vice president of finance at Alice Peck Day Memorial Hospital.

In this role, Roberts, who has been the Lebanon critical access hospital’s controller since 2013, will lead fiscal services and materials management, report to the president and serve as a member of the senior leadership team.

Prior to working at APD, Roberts spent time as controller at Casella Construction and as director of fiscal services at Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center in Windsor. He earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration at St. Michael’s College in Colchester, Vt.

Roberts replaces interim CFO Christopher Fallon.

Ottauquechee Health Center adds family medicine practitioner

WOODSTOCK — Dr. Rachel La Rocca has joined the medical team at Ottauquechee Health Center as a family medicine practitioner, Mt. Ascutney Hospital and Health Center announced in a news release.

La Rocca, who joined the staff of Mt. Ascutney’s Woodstock clinic last September, is accepting new patients of all ages.

La Rocca is a 2016 graduate of the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and was co-chief resident during her residency with Family Medicine Residency of Western Montana in Missoula, Mont. She is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
