Gary Milek shows his work, paintings in egg tempera and precious metals, at his home gallery, Cider Hill Gardens and Gallery in Windsor.

As a garden center, Cider Hill is open only during the growing season, so Milek’s paintings have to find a winter home. A show of his work opens with a reception from 1 to 3 on Saturday afternoon at Chew & Co. Design in Hanover and will remain on view through February.

The show, which features Upper Valley landscapes, is on view from 3 to 5 p.m. on Fridays, and by appointment. Write to thespaceonmain@gmail.com to set up an appointment.
