WOODSTOCK — The Agency of Education will host public engagement sessions in Randolph and Woodstock early this week to seek input on the future of public education and the education finance system in Vermont.
■A Monday evening session will take place at the Randolph Union Middle and High School theater, 15 Forest Street in Randoph, Vt., from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
■On Tuesday evening, a session will take place at Woodstock High School’s Yoh auditorium, 100 Amsden Way, Woodstock, Vt., from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
■Statewide virtual public engagement sessions will be held on Nov. 4 and 6.
The events are part of a series of community discussions announced earlier this month by the Commission on the Future of Public Education in Vermont. The purpose of the sessions is to give the public the opportunity to provide input to the commission and inform how the AOE delivers services and supports Vermont’s education system, according to an Oct. 15 news release.
Each session will provide information on the commission and its work, Vermont’s current education context and the education finance system.
