Charming, adoptable from Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society
“Hi! My name’s Charming and I’m a 2-year-old neutered male. I was adopted as a kitten with my sister, Cinderella, and we were recently returned. It was no fault of ours, though — our family was moving and couldn’t take us with them. It was nice living with them, but we’re excited to find our new home and family! We’re both really sweet and affectionate, and would love to stay together. If you’re looking for a bonded pair of cats that could really use a second chance, stop in and meet us today!”
(Charming is up for adoption from Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society, located at 4832 Route 44 in West Windsor and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 12-4 p.m. Lucy Mackenzie is also on Facebook and Twitter and can be reached at 802-484-5829.)

Copper, adoptable from Upper Valley Humane Society
“Copper is an energetic 11-year-old hound mix who doesn’t act his age. He loves people and being petted, and he thinks car rides are awesome! Copper has lived with cats and did well with them. He’s not so sure about other dogs, so he’d require an introduction before going home with one. Copper is a sweet and silly guy looking for a new place to call home.”
(Copper is up for adoption from the Upper Valley Humane Society, located at 300 Old Route 10 in Enfield and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. The Upper Valley Humane Society is also on Facebook and Instagram and can be reached at 603-448-6888.)

Poe, adoptable from Sullivan County Humane Society
“I am 3-year-old Poe. I was rescued by a kind woman from an abusive situation. However, she was not allowed to have cats in her apartment so had to keep me hidden in one room. Realizing that that was not the best option for me, she contacted the humane society and here I am. I am one super playful boy! I am hoping to find a kind, loving home! I am vet checked, neutered, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped and FIV/FeLV negative!”
(Poe is up for adoption from Sullivan County Humane Society, located at 145 Broad St. in Claremont. Please see hours on the humane society website at www.sullivancountyhumanesociety.org and Facebook. Call 603-542-3277 or email sullivanhumane@hotmail.com.)
