Stella, adoptable from Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society

“Hi! My name’s Stella and I’m a 1-year-old spayed female. Do you want to play? I’ll play with you!

“I came to Lucy Mackenzie when my owner was forced to give me up. It’s OK, though. I was left alone a lot of the time, and it made me a bit sad because I really like to be around people. Like I said before, I really like to play!

“I wouldn’t mind living with another playful cat, but it might take a little time for us to bond. I could be an only-cat, too, if you aren’t going to be gone all the time.

“I’m a real petite and adorable gal that over much deserves a second chance. If you’ve been missing some love and laughs in your life and are a cat-savvy individual, stop in and meet me today!”

Stella is up for adoption from the Upper Valley Humane Society, located at 300 Old Route 10 in Enfield and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. The Upper Valley Humane Society is also on Facebook and Instagram and can be reached at 603-448-6888.

Martha, adoptable from Sullivan County Humane Society

“I am 2-year-old Martha! I am a sweet girl that a kind lady was feeding for months. She called animal control because she did not want me to be stuck living on the streets. No longer taking cats, animal control brought me to the humane society.

“I am vet checked, spayed, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped and FIV/FeLV negative!”

Martha is up for adoption from Sullivan County Humane Society, located at 145 Broad St. in Claremont. Please see hours on the humane society website at www.sullivancountyhumanesociety.org and Facebook. Call 603-542-3277 or email sullivanhumane@hotmail.com.
