Robin, adoptable from Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society

“Hi! My name’s Robin and I’m a 4-year-old neutered male mixed breed dog that came to Lucy Mackenzie as a stray. Life hasn’t always been easy for me, but I’m looking forward to starting over in my new home.

“I’m a fun-loving active fella that has tons of potential, and lots of love to give!  Since I’ve been here, we’ve spent lots of time working on basic behaviors, like how to walk on a leash, sit and stay. I’ve come such a far way.

“I’d be the only animal in my ideal home, and my human would be committed toward continuing my training with me. It would also be nice if I wasn’t left alone for long amounts of time, as I’m much happier when I’m around my people.

“All I really need in life is a second chance. If you’ve been looking for a new best friend, stop in and meet me today!”

Robin is up for adoption from Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society, located at 4832 Route 44 in West Windsor and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 12-4 p.m. Lucy Mackenzie is also on Facebook and Twitter and can be reached at 802-484-5829.

Waverly, adoptable from Sullivan County Humane Society

“I am 5-year-old Waverly. My dad loved me very much but, unfortunately, the stress of construction on our home and the presence of new cats became too much for me. My dad could tell I was so stressed out by it all so he brought me here.

“I am a sweet, declawed girl. I am vet checked, spayed, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped and FIV/FeLV negative!”

Waverly is up for adoption from Sullivan County Humane Society, located at 145 Broad St. in Claremont. Please see hours on the humane society website at www.sullivancountyhumanesociety.org and Facebook. Call 603-542-3277 or email sullivanhumane@hotmail.com.
