Henry, adoptable from the Sullivan County Humane Society

“I am 2-year-old Henry. A concerned citizen saw me with a huge wound on my face and called the humane society for help. Thank goodness he did because I had a raging infection and needed surgery to help me heal.

“I am a sweet boy and would love to be cherished by my very own family. I do have FIV, but that is not a big deal. Please ask the people here what that means and please do not hold that against me.

“I am vet checked, neutered, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped and FeLV negative!”

(Henry is up for adoption from Sullivan County Humane Society, located at 145 Broad St. in Claremont. Please see hours on the humane society website at www.sullivancountyhumanesociety.org and Facebook. Call 603-542-3277 or email sullivanhumane@hotmail.com.)

Randall, adoptable from Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society

“Hi! My name’s Randall and I’m a 10-month-old neutered male cat. I came to Lucy Mackenzie with some of my littermates when we were found living outside on our very own. A nice lady took care of us and made sure we made it here safely.

“Since I’ve been here, I’ve been neutered, vaccinated and have made many new kitty and people friends. I’m curious, playful and an all around great guy. If you’ve been looking for a new feline companion (or two!), stop in and meet me today!”

(Randall is up for adoption from Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society, located at 4832 Route 44 in West Windsor and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 12-4 p.m. Lucy Mackenzie is also on Facebook and Twitter and can be reached at 802-484-5829.)
