Chapman, adoptable from Sullivan County Humane Society

“I am 3-year-old Chapman. I showed up as a stray in a kind family’s barn. I wanted to get lots of attention and was happy there but I did not like their resident cat. So, after trying to find my family with no luck, they brought me here.

“I am a big, gorgeous boy! I am vet checked, neutered, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped and FIV/FeLV negative.”

(Chapman is up for adoption from Sullivan County Humane Society, located at 145 Broad St. in Claremont. Please see hours on the humane society website at www.sullivancountyhumanesociety.org and Facebook. Call 603-542-3277 or email sullivanhumane@hotmail.com.)

Rocko, adoptable from Upper Valley Humane Society

Rocko is an energetic 2-year-old Rottweiler mix. He loves to exercise and would be a great jogging or hiking partner. But he’s also happy relaxing and being cuddled. He got to enjoy a fun foster sleepover, and they said he was a dream in the house! He’s on a special diet to keep him healthy and strong and is very food motivated, so training him will be a blast.

Come in and meet him Tuesday through Saturday, noon to 4 p.m.

(Rocko is up for adoption from the Upper Valley Humane Society, located at 300 Old Route 10 in Enfield and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. The Upper Valley Humane Society is also on Facebook and Instagram and can be reached at 603-448-6888.)

Domino, adoptable from Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society

“Hi! My name’s Domino and I’m a 4-year-old spayed female. Soon after I came to Lucy Mackenzie, I gave birth to four kittens. They’re all healthy, happy and looking for their very own homes, just like me.

“I have recently moved in to one of the main cat rooms here at the shelter and I love it — it’s kind of nice to only have to worry about me. I like it when people come to visit (I really like people!) and also when it’s play time. I do love to get my exercise in for the day. I mean, I’m a pretty easy-going cat — I’ve lived with other cats, dogs, people of all ages — you name it. So, if you’ve been looking for a new, affectionate and adorable feline companion, stop in and meet me today!”

(Domino is up for adoption from Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society, located at 4832 Route 44 in West Windsor and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 12-4 p.m. Lucy Mackenzie is also on Facebook and Twitter and can be reached at 802-484-5829.)
