Harry, adoptable from Upper Valley Humane Society
“Hi there, I’m Harry! I’m the type of cat who just loves to explore. I was previously an outdoor cat, and would enjoy being able to go outside in my new home.
“I’m independent, but also like curling up on the couch with my human friends. I’ve done OK with other cats I’ve met here, but would like to be the only feline in my new home. Dogs pending introductions. If I’m the one for you, then come meet me today!”
Harry is up for adoption from the Upper Valley Humane Society, located at 300 Old Route 10 in Enfield and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. The Upper Valley Humane Society is also on Facebook and Instagram and can be reached at 603-448-6888.
Chiquita, adoptable from Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society
“Hi! My name’s Chiquita and I’m a 16-year-old spayed female. I was brought to Lucy Mackenzie when my owner abandoned me. Can you believe that?Somebody just never came back for me.
“Well, there were two of us and my cat companion has been adopted. It’s OK, though. She went to a really great home and I’m happy for her. I live in a quiet room at the shelter because I like things to be quiet. I like to be pet and I like my canned food. Fancy Feast is my food of choice!
“I’m really an easy-going senior gal that hopes to spend her twilight years in the comfort of a home with somebody that won’t abandon me. If you have room in your home and heart (and Fancy Feast!), stop in and meet me today.”
Chiquita is up for adoption from Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society, located at 4832 Route 44 in West Windsor and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 12-4 p.m. Lucy Mackenzie is also on Facebook and Twitter and can be reached at 802-484-5829.
