Eeyore, adoptable from Sullivan County Humane Society

“I am 4-year-old Eeyore. I was adopted as a kitten from Sullivan County Humane Society. Sadly, my human dad passed away and his family brought me back here.

“I am a nice boy but a little shy and scared at first. I am vet checked, neutered, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped and FIV/FeLV negative!”

Eeyore is up for adoption from Sullivan County Humane Society, located at 145 Broad St. in Claremont. Please see hours on the humane society website at and Facebook. Call 603-542-3277 or email

Beebee, adoptable from Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society

“Hi! My name’s Beebee and I’m a 7-year-old spayed female. I came to Lucy Mackenzie with a bunch of my friends when our human was forced to part ways with us.

“I like being around other cats quite a bit. I also love being around people! I might come across as shy when you first get to know me, but in time, I will be the most affectionate little kitty you’ve ever met!

“See those cute ears on me? Well, the people here pay very special attention to them, because they can become very, very itchy for me. That’s why I eat a special diet — it’s hypoallergenic and had made a huge difference. I hardly itch at all since we’ve changed my food.

“I am incredibly affectionate and I like to play, too. If you’re looking for a petite pretty kitty to call your own, stop in and meet me today!”

Beebee is up for adoption from Lucy Mackenzie Humane Society, located at 4832 Route 44 in West Windsor and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 12-4 p.m. Lucy Mackenzie is also on Facebook and Twitter and can be reached at 802-484-5829.

Jack, adoptable from Upper Valley Humane Society

“Hi! My name is Jack and I am a 5-year-old mixed breed dog. Although I can be shy at first, once I get to know you you’ll find that I am a sweet and playful guy.

“I would love an active home with someone who will take things slow and help me build my trust with new people, places and things. I will need a home with someone who will help me learn manners and because of this, I require a home with no small children. I also need to be the only dog in my new home.

“If you think I could be the one for you, please come and meet me today!”

Jack is up for adoption from the Upper Valley Humane Society, located at 300 Old Route 10 in Enfield and open to the public Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m.-4 p.m. The Upper Valley Humane Society is also on Facebook and Instagram and can be reached at 603-448-6888.
