On the trail again

Ready to resume her hike on the Appalachian Trail, Jennifer Fear, of Charlotte, N.C., says goodbye to trail angel Mun, of New Milford, Pa., in Norwich, Vt., on Tuesday, Nov. 7, 2023. Fear and other hikers were stranded in North Adams, Vt., during the Great Vermont Flood in July, which she continued to do the New Hampshire and Maine sections this summer. Mun and his partner Emily Stone, left, picked Fear up at Logan International Airport in Boston and drove her to Norwich to complete the final 155 miles in Vermont.
Fear's hike is raising money for her non-profit organization Fearsome, whose goal is finding a cure as well as providing direct support to people living with Multiple Sclerosis. Fear was diagnosed with MS in 2016, initially losing her ability to walk.(Valley News - Jennifer Hauck) Copyright Valley News. May not be reprinted or used online without permission.
