ASCUTNEY — A vehicle rollover on Interstate 91 in Ascutney caused traffic delays Thursday.

I-91 Northbound just north of Exit 8 in Ascutney was closed due to a commercial vehicle rollover, according to a VT-Alert released just after 7 a.m. Thursday morning.

The closure was partially removed to allow travel in the left lane at about 1:30 p.m. and the incident was completely cleared and the road reopened at about 3:30 p.m., according to subsequent VT-Alerts.

During the closure, all vehicles traveling north were directed off of the highway at Exit 8 and the I-89 on-ramp on Route 131 in Weathersfield was also closed.

Travelers were warned to expect delays or to seek a different route.
