Coach: Shawn Fitzpatrick (third year).
Last year: NHIAA Division I state champions.
League: NHIAA Division I.
Returners: Seniors — Maddox Foster, Devyn Corliss, Steven Rheaume. Juniors — Logan Aiken, Josh Howe. Sophomores – Brennan Tallman, Lindsey Smrkovski, James Greco.
Newcomers: Freshmen — Gabby Rheaume, Charlotte Fink, Peyton Wadsworth.
Outlook: Stevens has become a regular contender for the state championship, winning three of the last four NHIAA titles. Though the Cardinals graduated three bowlers, they return Foster, Corliss and Aiken, who were important pieces to the team’s success last year.
Coach Shawn Fitzpatrick said they are “retooling” some this year but thinks the Cardinals have a solid shot to bring home a fourth championship.
“As long as they work together, I think they have a really good shot,” Fitzpatrick said.

Returners: Seniors — Connor Hurdle. Juniors — Andrew Vanesse. Freshmen — Andrew Bradley, Dahna Lagrange, Aguer Akot, Danny Salls. Middle school — August Schultz, Kasey Bradley.
Newcomers: Freshmen — Julie Madden, DeeAndra Fecher. Middle school — Mason Berry, Caleb Robbins.
Outlook: With increased numbers and offseason practice, Wildcats coach Robynn Martin expects the team to show better results this season.
“I am looking forward to seeing the improvements the team has been working on for this season,” Martin said. “All of the returning bowlers got in some practice in the offseason and have brought up their averages by 10-25 pins. Our new bowlers are quickly catching on to correcting their approach and learning where the best mark is for the type of ball they throw. This year’s outlook is looking better.”

Last year: Lost in the semifinals of the state tournament.

Returners: Seniors — Rowan Sheffield, Brooklynn Currie. Juniors — Samuel Russell, Roxanne Sherwin. Juniors — Sydney Walder, Keira Frost, Marcus Attwood. Sophomores — Benjamin Miller, Anthony Sheridan.
Newcomers: Sophomore — Jack Theetge. Freshman — Kane Sylvia.
Outlook: Coach Cody Warriner takes over from Steve Bly, who stepped down last year after coaching the bowlers for 12 years.
Warriner said he is optimistic with a team ready to take on challenges this year.
“We do have a lot of returning bowlers that already know and trust the process, and we have two new bowlers that have many teammates to look up to as leaders,” Warriner said. “All of our bowlers are determined, eager and excited to get on the lanes and throw their best shots.”
