Frank Dow Jr., 48, lived with family and in rented rooms with roommates for about two years after returning to Vermont from Florida where he did construction and cabinetry. Frank started Tent City One in the White River Junction rail yard in 2003. "I got tired of living under somebody else's roof," he said. (Valley News - James M. Patterson)
