Enfield Lions Seek Teams

West Canaan — The Enfield Mascoma Lions Club is seeking teams to participate in its Junior High School Basketball Tournament, set for Dec. 27-30 at Mascoma Valley Regional High School.

The tournament features four divisions, A- and B-level play for both boys and girls. Participating teams are asked to submit rosters by Monday.

Dartmouth Skills Camp

Hanover — The Dartmouth College baseball coaching staff will host an advanced skills camp this weekend at Leverone Field House.

The event, which runs from 11 a.m. on Saturday through 1 p.m. on Sunday, is designed to provide quality instruction in hitting, pitching, catching and infield defense from the Dartmouth coaching staff as well as other New England college and high school coaches. The cost for the camp is $175.

Hanover Baseball Hosting Santa

Hanover — To help raise funds for a planned spring trip to Florida, the Hanover High baseball program will hold a Breakfast With Santa on Saturday at the Black Recreation and Senior Center.

This event for the whole family will offer seatings at 8:30, 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 a.m.

Whaleback TNRL Returning

Enfield — Whaleback Ski Area has begun signu-ps for one of the mountain’s traditional events, the Thursday Night Race League.

The league features A, B and C divisions for skiers and riders of all abilities. The season will start with a Jan. 2 time trial to determine league assignments, with weekly dual slalom racing scheduled to begin on Jan. 9. Teams are made up of four skiers, with at least one competitor of each gender on the roster.

The cost to participate is $500 per team or $125 per individual, and the deadline to register is Dec. 12.
