Lebanon Dominates  In Summer Opener

Meriden — The future and the past came together to power Lebanon Beverage King to a 14-0 rout of Claremont in a New Hampshire Soccer Conference Division I women’s match at the Plainfield School yesterday.

Trina Scheie, owner of the game-winning goal from Lebanon High’s last state championship, and Katie Bradford, the all-time leading scorer at Keene State College, both had three-goal, one-assist games to power Lebanon (1-0-0). Jill Dion and Emma Forman both scored twice, and Felisha Melendy, Cassidy Robinson, Shannon Doherty and Lindsay Pullen did the remainder of the scoring.

Lebanon also picked up three assists from Molly McManus and two each from Doherty and Shannon Boisvert. Chrissy Drake had a rocking-chair shutout in goal, not having to make a save. Lebanon hosts Touchline on Wednesday.
