Exhibit Will Feature Bird Photography

Quechee — An exhibition of bird photography by Tom Berriman will be on display at the Vermont Institute of Natural Science through March 31. Berriman’s work includes images of birds in wildlife refuges and management areas in northeastern Vermont. He recently began digiscoping, which generally involves shooting through a camera connected to a spotting scope. He will demonstrate the technique on Feb. 16 during VINS’ Great Backyard Bird Count.

Berriman serves on the board of directors of Northeast Kingdom Audubon and often leads bird trips for the nonprofit. He is also a Fairbanks Museum Fellow and has been a member of the museum staff since 2007. — Staff report
