Woodsville — Three first-half goals was more than enough for the Woodsville high boys soccer team in the first round of the New Hampshire Division IV playoffs as the Engineers held on to beat visiting Lisbon 3-1 on Wednesday afternoon. Mike Dennis got the No. 8 seed Engineers an early lead, scoring with an assist to Chris Sarkis. Jamie LoCascio and Adam Cataldo also scored. Sarkis added another helper and Brandon Brown also had an assist. Goalie Ty Brown (two saves) and sweeper Skylar Clough each had a strong game, according to coach Mike Ackerman.
