Lebanon Post 22’s Win Streak Ends

Concord — Lebanon Post 22 saw its four-game winning streak come to an end in an 8-0 shutout loss to Concord Post 21 in an American Leion baseball game at Memorial Field on Thursday night.

District-leading Concord (8-0) made quick work of Lebanon (4-7), scoring four times in the first inning, once more in the second and holding the visitors to just four hits. Post 21 pitchers also recorded 15 strikeouts.

Isaac Fleming-Steinberg had a servicable outing for Lebanon on the mount, giving up four earned runs over five innings before giving way to Josh Weiss (no earned runs) for the final three. Fleming-Steinberg, Cam Blewitt, Dalton Campbell and Liam Gantrish accounted for Post 22’s base hits.

Lebanon visits Laconia Post 1 on Sunday.

Wilder — Jill Dion scored twice as Lebanon-Wilson Tire shut out Hartford SC in New Hampshire Soccer Conference action.

Micaela Schones also scored for Lebanon, assisted by Emma Forman.

Kassidee Rogers was in goal for Lebanon-Wilson Tire, which visits Darkside/Woodstock today.
