Pair of Races in Windsor Today

Windsor — The inaugural Windsor 5 and Dime run will be held today starting from the base of the former Mount Ascunty Ski Area. The 5k will get off at 9 a.m. followed by the 10k at 9:15 a.m.

The 10k race is part of the Western New Hampshire Trail Running Series.

Hartford Legion Tryouts

White River Junction — The Hartford Post 26 American Legion baseball team will hold tryouts for the upcoming season on Sunday and again Monday evening — weather permitting.

The Sunday tryouts begin at 5 p.m., while Monday’s session begins at 6 p.m. All tryouts will be held at the high school field.

Players between the ages of 15 and 19 are eligible to play, from Hartford, Rivendell, Thetford, Oxbow, Windsor and Woodstock. For more information, contact Kurt Devoid at (802) 296-6233.

Lebanon Legion Tryouts

Lebanon — The Lebanon American Legion Post 22 baseball team will hold an organizational meeting on Sunday at the Lebanon High School field at 4 p.m. The meeting is for all prospective players and their parents.

Post 22 will again have a senior and junior team this year. The senior program is open to players born on or after Jan. 1, 1994. The junior program is open only to players born on or after Jan. 1, 1996. Any players born on or after Jan. 1, 2001 is not eligible to play Legion baseball.

Tryouts will be held on June 10, 11 and 12 at 5:30 p.m.

Rivendell Sports Meeting

Orford — There will be a meeting Monday for all grade 8-11 student-athletes and parents who intend to play soccer or run on the cross country team next fall in the Rivendell Academy cafeteria at 6:30 p.m.

Permission forms, game schedules, summer game schedules and pre-season information will be shared. After some brief introductory information, coaches will meet with their players and parents in separate locations.
