Learn-to-Curl at UA Sunday

Woodstock — Following on the heels of the recent Olympic tournament in Russia, the Woodstock Curling Club will host a learn-to-curl clinic at Union Arena on Sunday afternoon.

The clinic is scheduled to run from 1:30-3:45 p.m. at a cost of $20 per person. The club provides the stone and other equipment; all participants need to bring are warm clothes and non-skid shoes. Clinic-goers will begin with an off-ice introduction to the rules of curling, then move onto the rink for on-ice instruction.

Space is limited for the clinic. Participants are asked to register in advance with an email to uppervalleycurling@gmail.com.
