Letter: From Competition to Cooperation
To the Editor:
Town meetings are over, the ballot boxes put away and the signs gone from buildings and front lawns. And now that the race is finished, the victories won, the losses conceded, the changes in place and the heat of campaigns cooled, it is time to leave politics, grudges and party divisions behind and shake hands with your neighbor.
It is by working together cooperatively that we build a stronger community and a better world. Peace begins at home, right in one’s own backyard.
