Letter: A Good Time to Pull Rank

To the Editor:

On March 12, I heard on NPR news that a lieutenant general had reversed a court martial finding that a lieutenant colonel had sexually assaulted a female under his command. I assume that millions of my fellow citizens have this knowledge, so I cannot help but wonder if the civilian commander-in-chief of the U.S. armed forces is going to respond. It seems to me that said commander-in-chief, who has championed the rights of women, would act swiftly to punish the lieutenant general and reverse that annulment of the court martial.

By the way, the name of the commander-in-chief is Barack H. Obama.
