Alice E. Langlois

Quechee, Vt.— Alice E. Langlois, 67, died, Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013, after a long illness at Hanover Terrace in Hanover, N.H.

She was born July 17, 1946, in Lebanon, N.H., a daughter of Raymond and Evelyn (Adams) Hebert. She grew up in White River Junction and graduated from Hartford High School, Class of 1964. She worked at the Baker Library for a time before she went to Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital in Hanover. She then worked for the Music Stand in Lebanon before leaving to work at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in White River Junction. She retired from the VA after twenty years of service.

She is survived by her husband of Quechee; a daughter Mary Thon of Richmond; Vt.; a stepson Tim Langlois of Fair Haven, Vt.; stepdaughter Nicole Stevens of Essex, Vt.; seven grandchildren: Abigail Thon, Isabel Thon, Harry Thon, Adie Stevens, Nicolas Stevens, Lauren Langlois, and Paige Langlois; two brothers Robert Hebert of White River Junction and Raymond Hebert of Enfield; a sister Jackie Snowdy of Virginia and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside memorial service will be held in the St Anthony’s Cemetery in White River Junction Wednesday, Nov. 13, at 3 p.m. Knight Funeral Home in White River Junction has been entrusted with arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to Alice’s family at
