She liked to encourage physical activity, including raking the super large lawn in autumn and shoveling the extra long driveway in winter. She always had lots of friends around and knew how to throw mean bridge and dinner parties. She liked to tell jokes and keep people laughing with her sharp wit. Her interests included shopping for the latest glamourous clothing styles, dabbling in oil painting and perfecting her golf game. Alyse was active in several civic groups while living in Huntington Beach, Cal. She was well loved.
She is survived by Cam and his wife Maryanne of Hanover; Holly and her partner Kim of Mancos, Col.; Scott and his wife Linda of Napa, Cal.; Doug and his wife Terri of Pine, Col.; grandchildren, Brandon, Lara, Andrew, Kyle, Shannon, Eric, Cole and Connor.
Her family would like to thank the caregivers at Wheelock Terrace and Valley Terrace for the wonderful care that she received while there. The family wants you to know how much your care was appreciated.
No services are planned at this time. A family gathering on the beach in California is anticipated during the Christmas holidays for her final tribute.
