Frances H. Dube
Lebanon, N.H. — Frances H. Dube, 80 of Lebanon passed away peacefully at home Sunday, Sept. 8, 2013.
Born in Magog, Quebec, Canada on Feb. 13, 1933, a daughter of the late John and Hazel (Huse) Shaw, Frances spent her younger years in Canada completing her education there before moving to the area. She went to work for 18 years for Profile Ski Wear in West Lebanon, and later working for Thermal Dynamics where she eventually retired from. After retirement in her spare time she worked for Republic Parking at the Lebanon airport. She also helped with the Martha’s Ministry at Sacred Heart Church.
Frances was a longtime member of the Sacred Heart Church in Lebanon. She enjoyed doing crafts, and loved animals, especially her dog Cherekee.
She is survived by her son, James E. Dube and his wife, Mary of Barstow, Calif.; three grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and two step-grandchildren; a brother, Norman; three sisters, Marianne, Winnifred and Sheila all of Canada. She was predeceased by brothers, Gilbert, Albert and Mickel and sisters, Grace and Kathleen.
Family and friends are invited to calling hours at the Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon on Monday, Sept. 16, 2013, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, Sept. 17, 2013, at 11 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Church, with burial following in the Valley Cemetery on Mascoma St. Ext., both in Lebanon.
