Eileen S. Williams
Lebanon, N.H. — Eileen S. Williams died on Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, in the Loving presence of her two daughters at Harvest Hill in Lebanon, N.H., where she had been living for the last year to be closer to her two daughters. Eileen Smith Williams was born in Weare, Mass., Feb. 12, 1920.
She raised her family with her husband, David Williams, in New Hampton for 18 years. She was better known to her friends in the lakes region in Meredith and her residence at Taylor home in Laconia for the last 20 years. Eileen was often known for her quick tongue and wit and counted many as friends. She was a proud and proper woman who often graced the golf course and bridge table. She was a member of the New Hampton Community Church, and the Waukewan Golf Club. She loved gardening and hiking but her real passion was being in the presence of her five grandchildren who brought her great joy. Her grandchildren include Dustin, Stephanie and Tristan Laverack from Sandwich, N.H., and Christopher Lamb, who lives on his jumping skis, and his sister, Elizabeth Lamb Morris from Dorchester, Mass.
Eileen leaves behind her two daughters, Robin Williams of Lebanon and Melissa Laverack of Warner. She is predeceased by her son, Jonathan Williams and her husband, David S. Williams.
A memorial services will be held at Harvest Hill in Lebanon, Sunday, Aug. 18 at 1:30 p.m. And the Gordon Nash Library in New Hampton, N.H., Saturday, Aug. 24 at 11 a.m.
Eileen’s favorite charity was St. Judes Children’s Hospital.
