Linda H. Wilmot
Hanover Center, N.H. — Linda H. Wilmot died Monday, July 8, 2013, following a brief but courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born in Hanover, N.H., Feb. 29, 1944, daughter of George and Ester Horton. She was married to Merle K. Wilmot on Aug. 17, 1963. Linda and Merle then made their home in Hanover Center where they raised their three sons.
Linda enjoyed everything life had to offer from island travels to kayaking, her years working in the Hystology Department at the VA Hospital to working in her beautiful gardens, helping out at the Hanover Center fair or relaxing in her pool. Linda’s greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.
She left behind her husband, Merle Wilmot; son, Todd, his wife, Jeri, of Lyme, son, Troy, of Warren, N.H., son, Tony, his wife, Kim, of Warren; five grandchildren, Travis, Jake, Laci, Mason and Charlie; her sister, Lois and husband, Larry, their daughter, Tonya, her husband, Dan and their three children, Devin, Alex, and Nathaniel; also a very special person in her life she considered a daughter, Kathy Jenks of Lyme; hundreds of friends including Dr. Ripple and the Hematology Oncology team at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 20 at 2:30 p.m. at the Hanover Center Congregational Church with the Reverend G. Edwards Brayman.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hanover Center Congregational Church.
