Janet Fletcher Haubrich
Claremont, N.H. — Janet Fletcher Haubrich, 98, of Claremont, died Friday morning, July 12, 2013, at her daughter’s home in White River Jct., Vt. She was born in Claremont on Feb. 18, 1915, the daughter of Frank and Harriet (Hooper) Fletcher.
Janet had lived most of her life in Claremont. She had lived with her daughter Sara for the past five years and prior to that had resided at Valley Terrace Assisted Living in Wilder, Vt. for five years.
Janet was very loving and devoted to her family and loyal to her lifelong friends.
She was a lifetime member of the First United Methodist Church, a member of the Claremont Historical Society and the West Claremont Burying Grounds.
Janet was very active in the Green Mountain Horse Association and enjoyed hiking, walking, gardening, landscaping, horseback riding and their summer home in Reading, Vt.
She married Dr. Wilson Roberts Haubrich, VMD, Jan. 20, 1940, and he died on March 18, 1995.
The family includes one son, Peter W. Haubrich and his wife, Gail, of Wilder, Vt.; one daughter, Sara H. Dropkin and her husband, Lester, of White River Jct., Vt.; four grandchildren, Heather Haubrich, Melinda Goodling, Jeffrey P. Haubrich and David Brown; five great-grandchildren; one niece, Susan Belding and one nephew, David White.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Charlotte Bonner and Elizabeth White and one nephew, Stephen Bonner.
Funeral services will be held at the First United Methodist Church on Tuesday, July 16 at 1 p.m. with Patricia Wells. Interment will follow in West Claremont Burying Grounds.

Arrangements are with the Stringer Funeral Home and Crematorium, 146 Broad Street, Claremont.
