Daniel Robert Poland
Port Orange, Fla. — Daniel Robert Poland, 61, died Saturday, June 15, 2013.
He was born December 27, 1951, in Hanover, N.H., son of the late Robert and Theresa (Bressette) Poland. Dan grew up in Lebanon, N.H., and graduated from Lebanon High School in 1969. He graduated from Champlain College, Vt. and Plymouth St. College.
Dan worked as a hospital administrator at Gifford Memorial Hospital in Randolph, Vt., as well as other hospitals in Louisiana and Florida. In most recent years he was self-employed as a carpenter.
He is survived by his forever friend and love, Shelia Poland, of Cory, N.C.; a daughter, Angela Myers and husband Keith; a son, Nathan Poland, of Austin Texas; sisters, Linda Denisar and husband John, of Lebanon, Draeanne (Shelly) and husband Donald Rivette, of Windsor, Vt.; and grandchildren, Bradley, Adam and Kevin.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, July 16th, at 11 a.m., at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Lebanon; reception followed at Knights of Columbus Hall in Lebanon.
