John “Jeep” David Lees

Swiftwater, N.H. — John David Lees, 56, passed away suddenly on Saturday, June 15, 2013, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock. He was born in Southhampton, Long Island, N.Y. on June 8, 1957.

He graduated from Woodsville High School, class of 1975.

He worked at Duds Atlantic in Woodsville. He was the road agent for the town of Bath, N.H., for 16 years. He leaves behind a job he loved at Mountain Milk and all his beloved extended family of farmers.

He was predeceased by his father, David Lees.

He is survived by his loving wife and best friend of 36 years, Deborah (Aldrich) Lees; his mother, Lillian Lees, of Bristol, N.H.; his father- & mother-in-law, Norman and Rosalie Aldrich of Newbury, Vt.; his sister, Kathy Troy and husband, Jerry, of Bath; brother, Wayne Lees and wife, Belinda, of North Haverhill; sister, Cynthia March and husband, Harry, of Bristol; sister, Mary Coathup and Robert, of Barnet, Vt.; brothers-in-law, Clifton Aldrich, of North Haverhill, John and wife, Linda, of Bath, and Virgil Aldrich, of Newbury. He also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles.

Per John’s wishes, there will be no services.

In John’s memory, he wishes people to pay it forward, be kind to one another and help someone in need.
