Lawrence John Fay
Bradford, Vt. — Lawrence John Fay, 67, died in the comfort of his home on Sunday, Aug. 31, 2014. He was born on April 10, 1947 in Hanover, N.H. to the late Percy L. & Arlene B. (Gilson) Fay. Lawrence graduated from Lebanon High School and then served with the U.S. Army. Following his discharge he returned to the area where he owned and operated an automobile service garage. He later drove truck for Varney rucking, Bruno Trucking, Stage Coach and Advance Transit. He married Nancy Moog on March 27, 1975. Lawrence loved hunting and fishing and was a member of both the American Legion and VFW.
He is survived by his wife Nancy Fay of Bradford; two daughters Sandy Wurtz and husband John of Orford, N.H. and Laurie Fay and her companion Roger Maxwell of West Thompson, Vt.; a sister Susan Mays and her husband Jack of Lebanon, N.H.; many grandchildren; great grandchildren; nieces; nephews; cousins and friends.
