Arlene D. Palmer
North Thetford, Vt. — Arlene D. Palmer, 78 passed away on Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014, surrounded by family.
Arlene was born March 19, 1936, in Lyme Center, N.H. to the late William and Della Thompson (Bryant). She attended Chesley School and Thetford Academy. Throughout her life she was a tireless caregiver to many. Arlene took great joy in living on the Palmer Jersey Farm with her late husband, Arthur and their children. She was dedicated to her family and her community, recognized for her service and loved by all who knew her.
Mrs. Palmer was predeceased by her late husband, Arthur, brother, Daniel, daughter, Nancy and son, John.
She is survived by her siblings, Daisy Vaughan, Elizabeth Vaughan, and Arthur Thompson. Also survived by her children, Susan Stallings, William Rose, Roger Rose, Laurie Ingalls, Kathy Young, Alan Palmer, David Palmer, Bonnie Dore, Andrew George; 17 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be Saturday, Aug. 30, 2014, at 10 a.m. at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in North Thetford. There are no calling hours.
