Grace L. Barnes
Grafton, N.H. — Grace L. Barnes, 93, died Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, N.H. She was born on Aug. 4, 1921, in Grafton, daughter of the late Algernon R. and Vera M. (Hill) Hutchins.
Grace graduated from Concord High School in 1940. She was formerly employed at the Regis Tannery, at a local furniture factory, and many years as a stitcher in the shoe shops.
She was a member of the Raymond Baptist Church, honorary member of the Manchester Motorcycle Club, member of the National Rifle Association and Grafton Historical Society.
Her hobbies included gardening, hiking, camping, motorcycling, traveling, rock collecting, and doing crafts of all kinds.
She was predeceased by her loving husband, Harry Barnes, who died Oct. 5, 2012, and a son, Ronald F. Brown.
She is survived by her daughter, Sherry R. Barnes of Somerville, Mass.; her son, Thomas G. Brown of Orange, N.H.; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; a brother, Irvin Hutchins of Raymond, N.H.; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held on June 21, 2014 at 10:00 AM at the Old Pine Grove Cemetery, Raymond, N.H.
