Canaan, N.H. — Alan Dube, 58, died suddenly on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014. He was born on May 4, 1955, to Clovis and Beverly (Goss) Dube in Lebanon, N.H. Alan graduated from Mascoma Regional High School. Following high school he worked for a survey company, Thermal Dynamics, CEPS and GW Plastics.
Alan was a kind and generous man who was always willing to help friends and family. He enjoyed playing softball, cutting firewood, doing any kind of small building project, going to the ocean and long rides on his Harley. He was a good friend, partner, father, brother and son who will forever be loved and missed.
He is survived by his mother, Beverley Dube of Canaan; his longtime companion, Rene Regione of Orange, N.H.; his two sons, Greg Dube of Canaan and Chris Dube of Wilder, Vt.; two brothers, Larry Dube of Enfield Ctr., N.H., Terry Dube of Grafton, N.H.; a sister, Bonnie Gourley of West Lebanon, N.H.; two grandchildren, Melissa Dube and Jacob Dube; many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his father, Clovis Dube and a brother, Ronald Dube in 1986.
Family and friends are invited to memorial calling hours at the Ricker Funeral Home in Lebanon on Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Friday, Jan. 24, 2014, at 1 p.m. at the Community Lutheran Church of Enfield, N.H.
