Hanover -- Edward Gallus “Ned” McCarthy, 70, died Wednesday, June 18, 2007, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center as a result of complications during a lung biopsy procedure. He had been diagnosed with mesothelioma, a cancer caused by asbestos exposure, a week prior.
