Letter: Board Should Have Shown Empathy

To the Editor:

How sad that members of the Lebanon School Board couldn’t find it in their hearts to waive the tuition for this short period of time for Lucien Vigneault so that he could finish out third grade at the Hanover Street School. If Vermont was able to do it, surely New Hampshire could have done it, too. Where there’s a will, there’s a way. The board should have shown a little empathy for this child, who received financial help from an anonymous donor on Friday.
