Martin L. Miller, Sr.

Windsor, Vt. — Martin L. Miller, Sr., 73, died Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at Elm Wood Center after a short illness.

He was born June 12, 1941, in Waterville, Vt., son of Leroy P. Miller Sr. and Dora M. Farnham.

Mr. Miller was an active member of the Windsor B.P.O.E #1665 for 28 years, as well as an Officer of the Windsor, Vt. American Legion Post 25

He was extremely well liked by all who met him in his travels. He was a life long fan of the Green Bay Packers and New York Yankees. His greatest love was his family and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, and his brother, Larry Miller.

Survivors include his children, Felicia and her husband, Edward Fee of Claremont, N.H., Martin Miller III and his wife, Maria Miller of Hartland, Vt., and Maygan Miller of Windsor; ten grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; as well as nine siblings, Nona and her husband, Carl Colburn, Sue “Elaine” Miller, Ovila Miller, and Leroy Miller Jr., of Windsor, David Miller of Northfield, Vt., Jeffrey Miller of Claremont, Frankie Miller of Newport, N.H., and Lena Miller of Weatherfield, Vt.; also his step-mother, Hilda Miller of Windsor; and the mothers of his children and good friends Tammy Farrell of Windsor, and Carol Allen of Hartland.

Celebration of life for Marty will be held at the Windsor American Legion on Saturday, July 12 at 11 a.m. Donations towards service expenses are greatly appriciated.
