Tunbridge, Vt. — Carleton C. Rogers, 82, died Monday, April 13, 2015 at his home in Tunbridge. He was born Aug. 9, 1932, in Tunbridge the son of Clifton E. and Elizabeth A. (Wheelock) Rogers. He attended school in Tunbridge and served in the U.S. Army in the 194th Tank Battalion during the Korean War. On Nov. 24, 1954, he married Mildred “Millie” Downing of Chelsea, Vt. They lived all their married life in Tunbridge. For many years Carleton worked on his family’s dairy farm before having his own farm which he retired from in 1988. During retirement he cut and sold hay for many years. He had also worked for Barnaby Brothers Logging in …
