Thetford Center, Vt. — Harold King Ballou, Jr., 64 died suddenly Friday, April 11, 2014, at his home with his wife by his side. He was born Aug. 4, 1949, in Randolph, Vt. the son of Harold K and Viola (Smith) Ballou. Harold grew up and attended school in South Royalton. He married his high school sweetheart Virginia (Ginny) Higgins on July 15, 1971 in Norwich, Vt. and lived in White River Jct., Vt. before moving to Thetford Center. Harold worked at P&C Cross Company for over 20 years and then at Ross Express, a job he really liked until medical problems stopped him from driving trucks.
