Sharon, Vt. — Robert Lee Longe, 62, of Sharon, died unexpectedly, Thursday, Dec. 11, 2014, at his home. He was born July 13, 1952, in South Pomfret, Vt.; the son of Charles H. Longe, Sr. and Shirley (Phillips) Longe. He was raised in South Royalton and had also lived in Ludlow and Randolph before moving to Sharon. Robert had worked at the Talc Mill in Windhamtown for 20 years, then Mack Moulding in Cavendish, and Vermont Castings until retiring in 2007. He enjoyed tinkering with his Toyota truck, hunting, fishing, and watching Westerns on television. Survivors include his step-daughter, Monica Thompson-Sorrentino of Fairhaven; brothers, Charles H. Longe, Jr. of Chicopee, Mass. and Andrew C. Longe …
