Christopher William Naumann
Sharon, Vt. — Christopher William Naumann, 50, died Friday, June 20, 2014, at his home in Sharon after a long battle with cancer.
He was born April 6, 1964, in Norwalk, Conn. the son of William Edwin and Pat Michele (Shaw) Naumann. He attended school in Ridgefield, Conn., graduating in 1982 from Ridgefield High School.
On Jan. 8, 1999, he married Mary Melody Mengedoht. They lived in Connecticut before moving to Vermont in 2001.
Chris was a master electrician and owned and operated his own electrical contracting business, Christopher Electric.
He enjoyed vollyball, bicycling, motorcycling and kayaking.
He is survived by his wife, Mary and his daughter, Maeve both of Sharon; two step-sons, Kent Showalter of Houston, Texas and Kurt Showalter of Washington, D.C.; his father and mother in law, Larry and Ruth Mengedoht of Tunbridge, Vt.; and his aunt Sandra Shaw of Waterbury, Conn.
There will be no public calling hours. A celebration gathering of Chris’ life will be held Sunday, June 30, 2014 at 3-5 pm at the home of Larry & Ruth Mengedoht, 218 Dickerman Hill Rd., North Tunbridge, VT.
