Vershire Woman Pleads Not Guilty to I-89 Crashes

Royalton — A 23-year-old Vershire woman was arraigned Monday on charges that she drove the wrong way on Interstate 89 over the weekend, causing two accidents. Savannah Lapan pleaded not guilty in Vermont Superior Court to a felony count of eluding law enforcement, two misdemeanor counts of gross negligent operation, and a misdemeanor count of leaving the scene of a crash.
