VTC Names Associate Marketing Director
Randolph — Leandre Waldo-Johnson has joined Vermont Tech as the college’s new associate director of communications, development and marketing, effective this fall. She will be responsible for leading the college’s strategic development projects.
“Leandre is an exciting addition to our team at VTC,” Martha Trombley Oakes, associate dean for institutional advancement at Vermont Tech, said in a recent news release. “With an extensive background in both communications and higher education, we’re thrilled to welcome such a talented and experienced staff member who will serve as an important asset for the college’s marketing initiatives as we continue to grow.”
Waldo-Johnson most recently worked as director of communications at RunVermont, where she played a crucial role in the development and execution of the KeyBank Vermont City Marathon. Before that, she was an assistant director and project manager at Boston College.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from Hamilton College and an MBA from The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University, where she specialized in nonprofit management. — Staff report
