No One Hurt In Randolph Fire

— A fire that began in a bathroom caused $150,000 of damage to a residence on Friday, but no one was injured, police said.

The Randolph Fire Department responded at about 2 p.m. to a fire at 25 Forest St. in Randolph after Danielle Peek, who lived in the house with her two children, tried unsuccessfully to put out a fire in the bathroom. The three left the house unharmed, police said.

Firefighters, joined by the Randolph Center Fire Department and the White River Valley Ambulance, put out the fire quickly, according to police.

The cause of the fire is not yet known, police said, but it is not considered suspicious.
