Wedding: Torrey — Brousseau

Plainfield — Rachel Anne Torrey and Joshua Raymond Brousseau were married on Sept. 14, 2103.

The wedding took place at Lake Morey Resort in Fairlee, in a ceremony presided over by Justice of the Peace Stephanie Hillard.

The bride wore a white satin strapless ball gown with pick-ups and a sash to match the bridesmaids’ dress color.

Amber Torrey, the bride’s sister, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Niccole Frysinger and Michelle Grant.

The best man was the bridegroom’s brother, Andrew Brousseau. Groomsmen were David Greenslit and Garrett Fluette.

A reception followed at Lake Morey Resort.

The bride is the daughter of Cherrie and Norman Torrey, of Plainfield. She graduated from Lebanon High School in 2008 and earned an associate degree in early childhood education from River Valley Community College in 2012. She is employed as a lead teacher for infants and toddlers at Cradle & Crayon Inc. in Hanover.

The bridegroom is the son of Karen Brousseau-Allard, of Claremont, and the late Mike Brousseau. He graduated from Stevens High School in 2004 and is employed as a certified automotive technician at Bob’s Service Center in White River Junction.

The couple plan to honeymoon in St. Lucia. They make their home in White River Junction.
