Keene, N.H. — Alice Joan Nowill, 78, of Keene, died peacefully early Friday morning, March 13, 2015, in the comfort of her home at Bentley Commons of Keene, with her family at her side. She was born in Springfield, Mass., on June 24, 1936, to William and Lieschen (Peters) Mueller. She grew up in Agawam and was a 1954 graduate of Agawam High School. On Oct. 15, 1955, Alice married Harold “Curt” Nowill, her high school sweetheart and the love of her life, in Wilbraham, Mass., and they shared 58 happy years of marriage before his death in December of 2013. The Nowills moved to New Hampshire in 1970 to buy a general store. Alice …
