Jarrett (Nik) Harter Folley, Jr.

Norwich, Vt. — Jarrett (Nik) Harter Folley, Jr. passed away on Thursday, May 29, 2014, surrounded by his three children. Born Feb. 10, 1942, he was the son of Dr. Jarrett and Barbara (Smith) Folley. He graduated from Hanover High in 1959, went on to Wesleyan University and earned a law degree from Stanford University.

He  spent his career at 3M where he served as  corporate counsel,  part of which was as  General Counsel  for  Europe and Africa  in Brussels, Belgium.

He is survived by his three children, daughter, Jennifer (Folley) Hodges, husband John, grandchildren Elizabeth (10), Anna (9) and Emily (2); Son, Jarrett (Jay) Folley, his wife, Priscilla and grandson, Caetano (10 Months); daughter, Jessica Folley and grandchildren, Jackson (12) and Addie (10); special friend, Jane Graham; and sisters, Penny Folley Miller and Gillian Folley White.

He had a love of  sports, nature, photography and touring the countryside. He returned home to Vermont after leaving Minnesota. Although he resided in New Hampshire in his later years he always thought of himself as a Vermonter.
