New London, N.H. — Virginia E. Child died peacefully at age 94 on Monday, July 21, 2014, in New London. Formerly of Sudbury, Mass., she is survived by daughters, Penny Peters of Cambridge, Mass., Martha Ash of Waitomo, New Zealand, Joy Bloomfield, Contoocook, N.H., Judy Child Schwartz of Clayton, Mo.; son, Luther (Dinty) Child III of Cambridge, Mass.; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Luther M. Child, Jr. and a grandchild. Funeral service on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, at 1 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of New London, N.H.
